As a child, Colette watched as her father bird hunted and traveled to trap shooting tournaments across the country. In 2007, she joined her first sporting clays league in North Dakota and won the league final. Her passion for clay shooting then grew, and she joined the NSCA in 2010. That very same year she won high lady at the North Dakota State Shoot and went on to win the 2015 Sporting Clays World Shoot in her class.

In 2019, Colette took her shooting to a new level and began training under the internationally renowned coach and shooter, Dan Carlisle. She has since become a master class shooter/competitor and placed on NSCA All-American teams.

Endorsed by her coach and mentor, Dan Carlisle, Colette now provides expert shotgun instruction to all ages and shooting abilities. She currently resides in the  Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area and mainly teaches in the surrounding areas.
